CHICAGO!

I got back from my vacation in Chicago a few days ago, and I must say that my time there was excellent! I loved being a jr. counsilor at a rock camp! The band that I helped out with, their name was Good Krama. They sounded a bit like Sonic Youth! Some workshops we had were songwriting, alternative instruments, zine making, and t-shirt and button making! In the afternoon, the girls would have band practice. On Saturday, everyone performed at the showcase, and on Sunday, they went to a recording studio and recorded their songs. I can’t wait til the CD comes out! I’m super excited!

When I wasn’t at camp, I mostly stayed at my Tante and Onkle’s (German for Aunt and Uncle)  house. There wasn’t any air conditioning where the camp was held, so I was really hot, sweaty, and tired when I got home. I tried tons of new food when I was in Chicago, like Indian and Thai. It was delicious! Here are some pictures…

2 Years!

Yesterday, The Happy Tuesdays turned 2 years old! So, I would just like to say THANK YOU to everyone that has been reading my blog for the past two years. Chi-Town Adeventures!

Tomorrow, I leave for the wonderful city of Chicago for nine days! I’m very excited. I will be flying, and this is the first time that I will fly by myself. While I’m in Chicago, I will be volunteering at a music camp for girls I shall be posting all of my adventures and hopefully some pictures on here for the next week! Now I have to get packing!

I’m going to try very hard not to give away spoilers to the new Harry Potter movie, even though I’m pretty sure that everyone on planet Earth has seen it by now. All I’m going to say is that it was super awesome and it’s making me question if the third Harry Potter movie is still my favorite! So, go out and see it! And if you’ve already seen it, go out and see it again!!

Living In Nederland

At the moment, I've never lived outside of the country that I was born in. However, I am planning on living in the Netherlands (Nederland) one day because I think it will be an exciting journey, full of adventure and mystery. I'm not exactly set on where in the Netherlands I would like to live but probably in Zuid-Holland. Zuid-Holland is Dutch for South-Holland which is a provance in the Netherlands

Do I finish the book?

Unfortunately, I do feel obligated because I've invested some of my time to read part way through the book, so why not finish it? And I always have to know how it ends…that's just how I operate.
